Got a good deal on a Brisket Board

I was looking for a new Brisket Board and found The Boardsmith during their holiday sale. I signed up for their newsletter and got an extra 10% off, which made the total price much better. Shipping was free because my order was over $200. The board arrived in good condition, no issues there. It's a really substantial piece of wood, feels like it will last forever. For the quality, the final price I paid felt like a solid investment. Happy with the purchase, it was definitely worth it for the money saved.

Good board, fast shipping

I ordered a Maple End Grain Cutting Board. The process was straightforward, and the board shipped out pretty quickly, got to me in about five days. The packaging was sturdy, so no damage, which is always a plus. The board itself feels really solid and well-made, exactly as described on their site. It's thick, and the grain looks great. I also appreciate that they include care instructions; it's a nice touch for maintaining the wood. I've used it a few times already, and it's holding up well.

Board Butter works great

Got some Board Butter for my old cutting board, and it really brought it back to life. Super easy to use, just rubbed it on and it soaked right in. My board looks way better now, definitely feels smoother.

Hey, thinking about getting one of their big maple boards. Does anyone know if they ship to California pretty fast, or should I expect a long wait?

N Nina Vargas 2 months ago
Mine took about 1.5 weeks to get to me in NorCal, but that was for a standard size. Custom might take longer.

Yeah, I think it depends if it's a custom order or something they have in stock. Standard stuff usually ships out within a few business days, then it's just transit time. Mine was like a week to LA.

Is there usually a good discount around Father's Day for these? Trying to get one for my dad but don't want to miss a sale.

R Raj Reyes 2 months ago
They often do sales for holidays like that. I'd sign up for their newsletter, usually get a 10% off code right away and you'll be notified of bigger sales.

Yeah, they usually have something for the major holidays. Also, check around Black Friday/Cyber Monday, those are usually their biggest sales of the year.

Can you stack discount codes? Got a first-time buyer code but wondering if I can combine it with a free shipping offer or something.

O Omar 2 months ago
Nah, I tried that once. Only one code per order.

Nope, they only let you use one discount code at checkout. Pick the best one you have!

how do these boards compare to John Boos? worth the extra cash for a Boardsmith?

A Alex Carter 2 months ago
I have both, and honestly, the Boardsmith feels more substantial and the finish is nicer. Boos is good, but the Boardsmith just feels more premium, if that makes sense.

Definitely worth it. I had a Boos block before and it warped pretty bad. My Boardsmith has been solid. Plus, I like supporting a smaller, more focused company.
